Mosaic Editors Maaike Legrand and Vidya RanganWelcome back to all our readers. We do hope that all of you had an enjoyable summer vacation and are all geared to getting back to routine work. We at WBFN too hope to usher in a new and productive work season! At Mosaic we hope to receive as many if not more of your feedback and contributions in the coming months. We are here to serve you and your feedback will help us monitor our work and help us serve our readership better. Our farewell list keeps growing and this month we bid adieu to our member Chantale Holzmann. Chantale, “Our Earth Mother” as she is fondly referred to has been a stable support of the WBFN for almost a decade and she will be missed by all of us who had the opportunity to befriend her. While we bid farewell to some of our members, we also welcome our fond member Catherine Mathieu in a new role at the WBFN office. Our VA Mothers and Tots group has been growing and two of our members give you their perspectives on how they find the group to be a useful and a supportive social network. Louise recounts how she found a home in the friendly neighborhood of Adams Morgan in this issue. Also find lots of information on our new classes—English, WBFN Information Seminars and Financial Literacy. Feel free to go through the details of these classes and make your choice, enroll and learn new things and also make new friends. Do not miss our Annual Potluck Picnic coming up in October. It is a fun outing and a good opportunity to meet new people from the Bank. Keep reading our newsletter and keep sending us your interesting articles for publication.
